The origins of Reiki goes back thousands of years when our ancestors used their hands to heal, just like the story goes by Jesus.

In the 20th century, the Japanese doctor Mikao Usui modernized this technique and gave it structure. He himself trained to become a healer and then he trained others to pass on this wisdom to new decencies coming to the West in the 21st century.

So, what is reiki based on?

It is a very simple but effective technique. Through the hands, the universal energy that exists in everything and everyone is chanelled and transmitted to the patient, similar to a water hose that lets water run through it, watering a plant and giving it life and reconnection with its energy.

In one session, negative or low-vibration energies are expelled, which often cause sudden discomfort, stress or even physical pain or low immune system.

It also has very positive effects for patients with anxiety or depression.

Healing is at a mental, physical and emotional level, so it is very normal that during or after a session stagnant emotions are released. If it is accompanied by a guided meditation during the session, it facilitates the relaxation and work of the body to feel the healing.

During the session there are also other tools that are used to let the energy flow throw the body such a singing bowl or crystals.

So why not give it a try?
